This is an original vintage Velorex motorcycle sidecar, carefully restored and refurbished while preserving the distinctive styling and character for which these classic sidecars are known.

Velorex sidecars have a special place in European motorcycle history and are particularly associated with classic Jawa motorcycles and Czechoslovakian motorcycle culture.

Unlike the heavier, more utilitarian appearance of many Eastern European sidecars, the Velorex is immediately recognizable by its compact proportions, streamlined body, rounded rear section, and elegant European styling.

Finished in deep gloss black with a contrasting black and red interior, this example has a particularly attractive retro appearance.

This is an authentic restored vintage Velorex sidecar — not a newly manufactured reproduction.

Professionally Restored

The original vintage sidecar has been carefully refurbished in our workshop.

The restoration process includes inspection and restoration of the body and metal components, surface preparation, professional refinishing and automotive painting, along with replacement of selected worn components where necessary.

Our goal is to preserve the original proportions and distinctive personality of the Velorex design while giving the sidecar a clean and beautiful restored appearance.

Lightweight Fiberglass Construction

One of the distinctive features of the classic Velorex design is its lightweight construction. The sidecar combines a tubular steel frame with a molded fiberglass body.

The body is supported on the frame with rubber mounting blocks at the front and rear, helping to isolate it from the frame structure.

Compared with many traditional all-steel vintage sidecars, the Velorex has a relatively lightweight and compact construction, which is one of the characteristics that made this design so distinctive.

Together with its streamlined shape and classic European styling, this construction gives the Velorex a character quite different from heavier Ural, Dnepr, and Izh sidecars.

We professionally prepare every sidecar for transportation. The sidecar is disassembled and securely packed in durable OSB shipping crates to protect the restored body and individual components during transportation.
