Retro Duna Sidecar for Pannonia Motorcycle – Restored Original 1958–1961

This is a rare original vintage Duna sidecar, manufactured in Hungary during the period 1958–1961 for Pannonia motorcycles.

The Duna is one of the most distinctive European sidecars of its era. Its unique Jet Age styling, inspired by the design trends of the 1950s and early 1960s, gives it an unmistakable appearance. The streamlined front nose is often compared to the shape of a classic MIG-era aircraft.

The name Duna comes from the Hungarian name for the Danube River, which flows through Budapest, where these sidecars originated.

Original Vintage Sidecar – Professionally Restored

This is an authentic vintage Duna sidecar that has been carefully restored and refurbished, preserving the character and design of the original Hungarian model.

One of the special features of the Duna is its aluminum body, which makes it considerably lighter than many traditional Eastern European steel sidecars such as Ural, Dnepr, and Izh.

The sidecar has been professionally refinished and repainted, and selected worn components have been replaced during restoration.
